PE Profile: We're looking to add a dynamic Project Engineer to our Construction Engineering team! The ideal candidate will be a current Project Engineer who seeks new challenges, and wanting to learn about new technologies impacting the projects we work on. Working closely with the Client in an Owner Rep capacity, the Project Engineer manages the development of building project execution from start to finish. S/he will be a key driver of each project, inspire a spirit of excellence and a communication style that moves the needle. This is an ideal role for a PE who likes to travel, wants a better balance of project time and office learning.

Responsibilities

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Execute project objectives, promote excellent communication among all parties involved
  • Demolition of existing electrical technologies
  • Installation of new security
  • Integration of new electrical technologies
  • Installation of new electrical technologies (fiber optic vibration detection, cameras, microwave detection, etc.)
  • Integration of new electrical technologies.
  • Work closely with the Owner and vendors to support the expeditious completion of contract requisitions
  • Weekly interaction with all Contractors and our System Optimization Director
  • Work with Engineering for drawings and submittals
  • Weekly meeting updates with Project Manager and team lead
  • Partner with all vScenario division to enhance turnkey solutions
  • UAV and Laser Scanning opportunities

 

 

Qualifications

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering, Management, Engineering or 5+ years direct experience
  • 2+ years Construction Engineering experience, preferably self-performing general contractor experience
  • Valid Driver’s license and reliable insured vehicle
  • Able to travel and work remote

Preferred:

  • Security experience
  • Site Logistic Planning experience
  • RFI’s
  • Associate Constructor (AC)

Additional requirements:

  • Must be authorized to work in the US
  • Requires background check that meets company and client requirements
  • Position may require evening and weekends when project demands arise
  • May require learning new skills to support the company when needed

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000.00 – $80,000 /year
